We update our 1.7 million callsign database constantly and have built the HamCall database into the largest and most up to date amateur radio database in the world. Combined, these two pages average around 7,500 hits from over 2,500 unique users per day. We have 3 different sizes of banners to choose from:

Wide Rotational Banner, 468x60 pixels.

This ad size is probably the most popular on the web. Each wide banner is displayed in random rotation, 5% of the time. During a typical day you can expect your ad to be seen over 375 times, 11,250 times per month. This size banner costs $30 per month for each 5% of displays you wish to purchase.


Small Static Block Banner, 120x60 pixels.

Small static block banners are displayed on the side of every callsign lookup and DXSpots page, an average 7,500 times per day, 231,000 times per month. The cost for a small static block banner is $250 per month.


Large Static Block Banner, 120x120 pixels.

Large static block banners are displayed on the side of every callsign lookup and DXSpots page, an average 7,500 times per day, 231,000 times per month. This size banner gives you the maximum exposure for your product or service. The cost for a static block banner is $500 per month.

The static block banners that are displayed on every page offer a unique advertising opportunity. HamCall website visitors look up a variety of different information on our site, whether they're looking up someone in their city or finding QSL information for a DX station across the world. The block ad banners are always on each page beside the page content, making a lasting impression on our website visitors and keeping your name brand or product on their minds.

All ad banners can be .GIF (standard or animated) or .JPG format, and should be under 25,000 bytes in size.

From our own informal studies, ads that are colorful, animated, show the product, and invite the viewer to do something seem to work the best. We encourage you to send us a new ad banner whenever you like to try and increase your clickthrough percentage.
