HamCall™ CD-ROM
World's Largest QSL Database

HamCall CD-ROM Owner Benefits

Your purchase of the HamCall CD-ROM includes a free password for our HamCall.net Services. The password is good for 6 months. Your password can be used for:
  • 6 months of FREE CD-ROM updates via the Internet: Download 6 months of free updates via the Internet. These new/updated records download to your hard drive (about 1-2 megabytes per month), and are seamlessly integrated with the regular HamCall Callsign Lookup software. Your CD-ROM stays current for 6 months! (12 months of updates are available for a discounted additional charge.)
  • Archival HamCall database lookups: Display the history of any callsign in previous HamCall databases, 1995 to present.
  • HamCall Notification Service: Are you searching everywhere for a particular callsign? HamCall.net password holders can take advantage of our Notification Service. If you look up a call on our callsign server at http://hamcall.net/call and it is not found in our database, the HamCall Notification Service can e-mail you when the callsign is found.
  • Real-time Internet callsign lookups via third-party programs: Designed primarily for users with cable or DSL connections, third-party logging and utility programs can now offer direct real-time callsign lookups from our most current HamCall database, integrated into your logging program.
  • Full access to the HamCall web site including:
    • A cleaner search page with no ad banners
    • Unrestricted number of callsign lookups
    • Ability to copy and paste callsign information
    • Full birthdate display
    • Advanced search page. The advanced search page lets you search the online HamCall database not just by callsign, but also by name, address, class, and more. A demo version of the search engine that doesn't show callsigns is available for free to all, but with your HamCall.net password, you'll be able to use the full version of the search engine.
  • Full access to our DX Spots web page. DX Spots lists stations that are currently on the air all over the world. Note which spotted callsigns are contained in the HamCall database (with their relative activity indicated) and then quickly link to that callsign's HamCall record. The lat/long will help in pointing your beam. Additionally, see the Band Activity Graph to know which bands are currently active.
  • Access to all future features now under development. Your same HamCall CD password will work for any additional features we add.
