HamCall Rotor Control

Our rotor control program is specifically designed to work with the Idiom Press Rotor-EZ kit for a HyGain or MFJ rotator controller.

It indicates current antenna heading as well as desired heading. It reports progress as the rotor/antenna moves toward the desired destination heading.

The program can compensate for the coasting effect of using large antennas with rotators without brakes (i.e. Ham II/III).

It can momentarily move in the opposite direction to free a stuck rotor before resuming normal operation.

It can also automatically interface and exchange callsigns with the HamCall and HCLog programs. A serial interface ready indicator is provided. The program can automatically rotate the antenna once a callsign is entered as an option. This is a great operating aid when things get busy in the shack.

Manual operation can be accomplished using a mouse.

This program is included FREE with the HamCall and HCLog CD-ROM's.
